Megan Johnson

I grew up in the small town of Hurricane, West Virginia. I then attended Transylvania University
in Lexington, KY, where I majored in chemistry. I remained in Lexington for medical school at
the University of Kentucky. Family Medicine is perfect for me because I enjoy caring for patients
of all ages and treating medical conditions of all types. I also desire to form lasting and influential
relationships with my patients. Bristol was my first choice for residency for many reasons. I
wanted an unopposed program and I knew that Bristol would also give me the family balance that
I needed. My husband and I love how central Bristol is to all of our family. We also love the small-
town feeling and all the area has to offer. In my free time I enjoy being involved with my family
and my church. I also love sports, the outdoors, and cooking.
