Having been born and raised in East Tennessee, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to
attend medical school at LMU DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine approximately 10
miles from my hometown of Speedwell, TN. I absolutely love my home and the sense of
belonging that I have from being a member of the community. It is, in fact, that same sense
of community that first attracted me to family medicine. I enjoy establishing and building
relationships with patients and their families and being able to truly care for all generations.
I hope to be able to return home someday to practice medicine. I also greatly enjoy spending
time with my own family, attending my niece's cheerleading competitions or watching
movies with my husband. We also spend time outdoors riding ATVs and enjoying the
mountains. As newlyweds, my husband and I are looking forward to new experiences in our
lives and we feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the Bristol program.
