Emily K. Flores, PharmD, BCPS
I grew up in Anderson, South Carolina in the shadow of Clemson University. I was born a Clemson tiger and like much of my family, attended Clemson for my undergraduate education. I went on to obtain my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC. After graduation, I completed residency training at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN, and the University of Texas College of Pharmacy in Austin, TX, specializing in Family Medicine. The ETSU Gatton College of Pharmacy drew me and my husband, Nathan, to the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee. I am a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy and maintain adjunct appointments with the College of Medicine's Department of Family Medicine and the College of Nursing. I am a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist.
My professional interests include diabetes, women's health, geriatrics, chronic disease state management, and the education of students and residents. I love the diversity and partnership that comes with Family Medicine!
