I was born in China and raised in Chattanooga, TN. I received my bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering with a mathematics minor from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. I then attended Ross University School of Medicine, which allowed me to travel to many great cities during my rotations. I fell in love with the Johnson City Family Medicine Program immediately during my interview, from the never-ending warm hospitality to the beautiful natural surroundings, and most importantly, the camaraderie here is truly unparalleled. I look forward to gaining valuable experiences and knowledge during my residency at ETSU.
In the future, I plan to settle in a small to moderate size community and practice rural medicine. I also would like to utilize my language skills to reach out to a diverse group of patient population. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, cooking, photography, and any activity that I can involve my family in.
