I was born and brought up in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. I graduated from Mamata Medical College. I got married during my internship and moved to the United States with my husband. I came to Johnson City for the first time to attend the IMG institute program conducted by ETSU. These activities provided me great exposure to the practice of medicine in the US. I also came to appreciate the very congenial environment in which residents here work and learn. My aim is to work hard and develop competencies to provide excellent patient care. I am very excited to become a part of the ETSU Family Medicine Residency program. I am positive that my time here will make me a better physician. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing chess, watching Bollywood movies and spending time with my husband.
