Born and raised in Michigan, I went to college at a small liberal arts school near home, and then spent a year in Miami for graduate school. I ended up in Tennessee at a brand new osteopathic medical school, Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating, I moved to New York and started my residency in pediatrics. Prior to moving, I had met, fell in love, and became engaged to a wonderful man. He has two children with his ex-wife, whom I absolutely adore. Together, we enjoy hiking and being outdoors, going to movies, and just relaxing at home watching our favorite shows. However, he was unable to move, and after trying the long distance, we both decided it was best for me to return to the area. I am so excited to be back at JCMC, where I worked at during medical school, and in Johnson City, a city that I greatly enjoy living in. I look forward to my three years in the program, becoming a family physician and building a life with my fiancé in the area.
