Family Medicine Center
Kingsport Family Medicine Center Family Medicine Center, completed in 1986, has more than 12,000 patient records and is located adjacent to Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center. The 12,000 square foot facility includes 18 examination and 2 minor surgery rooms, fully staffed lab, video monitoring and precepting areas, and a large conference room, as well as office, administration, and lounge space.
The center contains equipment used in modern family practice offices, e.g. colposcope, flexible sigmoidoscope, nasolaryngoscope, EKG, spirometer, tympanometer, computers, and an up-to-date library.

Faculty/Staff
The staff includes 8 board-certified family physicians, a clinical psychologist, a pharmacist, a social worker, 6 full-time nurses, a laboratory technician, and 8 front office personnel including a full-time office manager. The office, which is computerized, accepts reimbursement through private pay, as well as Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance programs.
