Amy Lawrence, D.O.
Most of my life has been spent in the Midwest. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, completed my undergraduate degree at Purdue University in Indiana, and then obtained my Osteopathic Degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. However, since moving to the Tri-Cities to complete residency at ETSU-Kingsport Family Medicine, I now couldn't imagine living anywhere else. In residency, not only did I fall in love with East Tennessee but I also developed a desire to teach and to practice full scope family medicine practicing both inpatient and outpatient, and serving newborns to elderly. It was these experiences that helped guide my decision to join ETSU Kingsport Family Medicine as faculty.
I am excited to continue this journey and to see the field of family medicine grow and change. I have a special interest in women's health. I enjoy spending my free time reading, running and hiking as well as spending time with my husband, Chad and our 2 dogs. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
