All students receive a broad-based training in modern biomedical research through a new interdisciplinary core curriculum that covers the basic knowledge and skills necessary for research in all areas of the biomedical sciences. A program of flexible laboratory rotations allows students to become familiar with the individual laboratory environment of different faculty before choosing an advisor.
There are currently over sixty faculty from five basic science and seven clinical departments, participating in the graduate program. Most of our students receive financial support through graduate assistantships which include a generous stipend and a waiver of tuition and fees.
