Kailash Bajaj, MD, MPH is Assistant Professor of Medicine at East Tennessee State University's Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. Dr. Bajaj earned his medical degree in his native India, and then completed both his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Prince George's Hospital in Cheverly, Maryland. In 2009, Dr. Bajaj was selected to serve as Chief Medical Resident at Prince George's Hospital. Prior to joining the faculty in the Quillen College's Department of Internal Medicine, Dr. Bajaj served as a hospitalist at Excela Health in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bajaj is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hospital Medicine, and the Society of General Internal Medicine. He has been invited to present lectures during meetings of the American College of Physicians, Prince George's Hospital, and the Latrobe Area Hospital in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bajaj earned his Master's degree in Public Health from East Tennessee State University in 2008. As Assistant Professor of Medicine, he participates in the training of its medical residents and teaches courses in neurology.
