Dr. Kailash Bajaj joined the faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine at Quillen College of Medicine in 2012. He is currently an assistant professor of Internal Medicine in Kingsport Division of General Medicine. He has received medical education from Kasturba Medical College Manipal, India in 2004. He also received his masters in Public Health from East Tennessee State University in 2006. His Internal Medicine residency was then accomplished at Prince George’s Hospital, Maryland, and he has also served as chief resident during final year of his residency training.
Dr. Bajaj became board certified in internal medicine in 2010 and has worked as hospitalist at Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA before joining faculty at Quillen College of Medicine. He supervises medical students and residents in both inpatient and outpatient setting at Holston Valley Medical Center. His academic interest include hospital medicine, evidence based medicine practice and teaching, infectious diseases and cardiology. While he likes to spend most of his free time with his lovely wife, he also loves to travel, read and work out.
