Brief Bio

James Myers, MD is Professor of Medicine in the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. After earning his medical degree at Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Dr. Myers completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Infectious Diseases at East Tennessee State University. He now serves on the faculty and as Fellowship Program Director for Infectious Diseases in the Department of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Myers is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Microbiology, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. He is the author of several book journals and articles in peer-reviewed journals.
