Division of Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology was established at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine on May 1st of 2004. We are proud to have William M. Wason, M.D., Ph.D. as the chief of this new division of the department of internal medicine.

We are currently in the process of building a clinical practice and resident rotation in rheumatology. The division provides clinical care and treatment in Johnson City and Kingsport. Dr. Wason provides outpatient consultations for external and internal referrals.

Areas of interest include:

• Rheumatoid Arthritis

• Lupus

• Scleroderma

• Ankylosing Spondylitis.
