Quillen College of Medicine Welcomes Dr. Saba Aziz
Dr. Saba Wasim Aziz joins ETSU after working as an inpatient clinical endocrinologist at IPC Healthcare in Johnson City. Prior to that, Aziz served as an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois.
Aziz received her medical degree from the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital in India where she also completed her residency in internal medicine. She was an honorary fellow in the Department of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a second residency in internal medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago. Aziz also completed a fellowship in endocrinology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
Aziz is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology. Currently, she is a member of the Medical Counsel of India, The Endo Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
