Residency Program

Welcome Prospective OB/GYN Residents and Medical Students!

From this page you can link to more information about:

Comprehensive training in general obstetrics and gynecology as well as the sub-specialties of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, maternal fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (urogynecology), are offered in this close-knit university-based program.

Our small program allows residents to have personal connection with faculty members for mentoring and to develop life-long relationships.

The utilization of a human patient simulator and other simulation models provides the residents experience with more complex or rarely seen situations. Resident   Didactic Sessions   are intended to reinforce clinical experiences and to provide additional exposure to various topics.

Didactics include the following conferences: Continuous Quality Improvement; Grand Rounds; Resident Lecture Series; Labor Management; Gynecologic Oncology; Practice Management; Pre-Operative; and various other recurring sessions. Six hours each week are protected from interruptions for Resident Didactics. A research project is required by the end of the third year.

If you are interested in applying for a residency position, please send us your application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We encourage you to consider our program and hope you will request an interview with the ETSU Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.

I look forward to meeting you at your interview.
