Why East Tennessee?

James H. Quillen College of Medicine is physically located in Johnson City and helps form the hub of medical care for children of our region. The combination of small size and academic excellence offers resident physicians training in an environment that encourages faculty-resident interaction. This will prepare you for health care delivery in any setting. When you aren't studying pediatrics you can learn about the beauty of the Southern Appalachian Mountains and the recreational opportunities here. Committed faculty, outstanding residents and the great outdoors - it's all here in East Tennessee!
