Carolyn Sliger I grew up on a farm in Rural, Rosedale, Virginia, which I still love to visit and call my home. My husband works in Engineering and Construction Division at Eastman Chemical Company and we have one fantastic daughter. Our hobbies are golf, skiing, our house on Watauga lake, watching our daughter cheer, spending time with family and friends.

I have an undergraduate degree in Public Health and Biology and a Masters degree in Environmental health.

I have a long history working in public health and communicable diseases.

I have been with ETSU, Family Medicine and College of Medicine since 1997 as the Rural Programs Coordinator.  As a coordinator my responsibilities involves engaging high school, college, medical students and residents into areas of interest in rural or underserved medicine.  This includes all rural programs that are listed on the rural family medicine web site.  Get to know us; we offer a fun learning environment in the wonderful Appalachian mountain area.  Holler at me when you can:   or 423-439-6737.
