Wellmont-Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center is a 590-bed
acute care facility located in Kingsport, Tennessee, 20 miles
from the campus of East Tennessee State University. This
state-of-the-art facility provides a full spectrum of primary and
speciality care services including a comprehensive heart program,
cancer treatment center, lung center, and one of five
state-designated Level I Trauma Centers. Special facilities
include 30 criitical care beds, 42 stepdown beds, two cardiac
catheterization laboratories, and the latest in diagnostic and
treatment equipment. Holston Valley attracts tertiary referrals
over a broad area extending into neighboring states including
Kentucky, Virginia, and North Carolina.
