Fifth Year Resident
After growing up in Colorado, I moved to Alaska at the age of 20. I worked as an EGG technician for eight years and enjoyed the Alaskan Wilderness as much as possible; hiking, biking camping, snow machining, ice climbing, and skiing. At the age of 30 I went back to school and found my passion for surgery. I have great respect for the quintessential general surgeon, a dying breed. I plan to practice broad-based general surgery with underserved communities in a rural or moderate size community. ETSU has provided me the training I will need to be successful! This is a great place to train.
