Assistant/Associate Professor Speech-Language Pathology

The Department of Communicative Disorders invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, 12-month faculty position. We seek an individual whose research, teaching, clinical interests, and expertise focus on adult neurogenics, dysphagia and/or voice disorders, though other interests will be considered. Qualifications include: PhD (ABD considered), CCC-SLP, eligibility for Tennessee state licensure, evidence of research activity and potential, and commitment to effective classroom and clinical teaching. Responsibilities include teaching, development of an ongoing research program with pursuit of funding opportunities, direction of student research, clinical supervision in the area of expertise, and graduate academic advising. Research and collaborative opportunities are available with the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine, VA Medical Center, local ENT practice, and community-based interdisciplinary rural health-care programs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience; a full-range of benefits is available. ETSU is a research intensive institution with an enrollment of 13,000 students. The Department of Communicative Disorders has an established graduate-only program that offers an MS degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an AuD degree in Audiology. The department is in the newly formed College of Clinical and Rehabilitation Health Sciences and the Division of Health Sciences of the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine.
