Thanks
for visiting the Environmental Health web page. If you are prospective
student, there is a lot of useful information here about employment opportunites,
career tracts, and curriculum requirements. There is also information about
opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities with the Student
National Environmental Health Association (SNEHA). If you are visiting
for other reasons you will find useful information about our faculty, their
research, and service facilities such as the Environmental
Health Sciences Laboratory. The members of our faculty are active scholars
and teachers that enjoy working closely with students. Because of the
size
of the department,
you will have many opportunities to interact with faculty members--in and
out of the classroom. The staff is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and always
willing to help. Choosing Environmental Health as a career will lead you to a challenging but satisfying career. There are opportunities in a wide range of areas, from water quality protection to occupational health. You can find jobs working for the Federal Government, State Government, Local Government, Industry, and Consulting firms. If we can answer any questions, provide additional material or if you find something missing or a broken link feel free to call or email anyone in the department. Sincerely,
Phil Scheuerman |
