If you are applying (or have applied) to ETSU's Physical Therapy program,
please read the information below. We hope this information will save you
(and us) some time in the application/selection process. (These are not in order
of importance, so read the whole page!)
- Please read the information on the website. Many of the phone calls we
get involve questions that are answered on the website.
- Once the admissions process is under way, announcements will be placed
on this website, so please bookmark this page and check it periodically.
- Dr. Susan Epps is the Admissions Coordinator for the PT department and
handles the application screening process. If you have questions, please
contact her (click here to send an email
message).
- The Graduate School forwards only complete applications to the
departments. If your application is incomplete, we won't have it. (Please
note, however, that your application must meet Graduate School requirements
as well as PT department requirements, so applications that are deemed
complete by the Graduate School, may not be complete by the PT department
standards. The PT department will notify you by email of any missing items
required by the department.
- The responsibility to ensure ALL application materials are submitted and
received is yours.
- You should maintain an active email account and note that email address
on your application. If you fail to provide an email address, correspondence
to you may be delayed.
- You should also notify the Graduate School and the PT department of any
changes in your mailing address, email address, or phone number.
- The selection process is an involved process and takes time. We will
give you as much notice as possible if you have been selected for an
interview, however, when we receive a large number of applications just
prior to the deadline this can create a delay in getting notices to selected
applicants, so please be patient.
- Applicants selected for Early Decision (March 1 deadline) interviews are
contacted to schedule interviews on an individual basis.
- The standard (July 1 deadline) interviews are the 1st Saturday in
August each year, so it doesn't hurt to mark your calendar just in case.
- Check this page again - we'll probably think of something else to add in
the future.
