The Health Care Management Graduate Certificate is an interdisciplinary, 18 credit hour program of study designed to provide the learner with leadership and strategic management tools specifically for the health care environment. Faculty from the Colleges of Business and Technology, Nursing, and Public and Allied Health design and teach the courses in the program.

Anyone who has completed a baccalaureate degree in any discipline from a regionally accredited college or university is eligible to apply.

Program of Study

Each student will design a Program of Study to include five required 3-credit-hour courses and one 3-credit hour elective from the approved list for electives (18 credit hours). The Program of Study will be developed by the student and the graduate faculty advisor and will be based upon the student’s educational and experiential background and career goals. Courses are lodged in the departments of Accountancy (ACCT), Management (MGMT), and Marketing (MKTG), College Business and Technology; Public Health (PUBH), College of Public and Allied Health; and Professional Roles/Mental Health Nursing (PMNU), College of Nursing.
