What is the Cardiovascular Disease Research Agenda Project?

The Cardiovascular Disease Research Agenda Project was established to create a community-based and patient-centered CVD conference in Central Appalachia for the purposes of engaging patients/caregivers and other stakeholders to address the CVD problem and develop research agenda to support CVD prevention and control efforts in the central region. Our goal is to determine how to address this public health problem and why statewide and national policies/ programs have not had similar impacts in the Central Appalachian region.
