ETSU PRIDE Decorating contest winners announced

JOHNSON CITY Winners have been announced in the annual ETSU PRIDE Week Decorating Contest sponsored by the East Tennessee State University National Alumni Association.

To kick off ETSU PRIDE Week, now in its 16th year, members of campus organizations and the surrounding community were invited to decorate their doors, windows, offices and employees in blue and gold using the theme, "Engage the Dream." Following judging on Aug. 20-21, winners were announced today on 98.5 WTFM Soft Rock, an ETSU PRIDE media partner.

In the community division, first place was a tie awarded to Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union, 2004 N. Roan St, and Waffle House, 510 N. State of Franklin Road. Third place went to Texas Roadhouse, 1808 N. Roan St.

In the campus division, first place was awarded to the College of Public Health Dean's Office, located on the first floor of Lamb Hall. Second place was a tie between ETSU Family Medicine, 917 W. Walnut St., and the Department of Surgery at the James H. Quillen College of Medicine on the Veterans Affairs Medical Center campus. An honorable mention was awarded to the Office of Payroll on the third floor of Burgin E. Dossett Hall.
