Public Health Grand Rounds: "Learning from Katrina: Tough Lessons in Preparedness and Emergency Response"

Through our partnership with the Southeast Public Health Training Center at UNC-Chapel Hill, we have arranged satellite access to the Public Health Grand Rounds: "Learning from Katrina: Tough Lessons in Preparedness and Emergency Response” to be presented on March 31, 2006 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm E.T, in the D.P. Culp Center, Forum Room. This session is a collaborative effort between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Public Health.

Registration is open at http://publichealthgrandrounds.unc.edu/partreg/, with CME, CNE, CEU, and CHES credit available. Follow the new participant links to the East Tennessee State University site location. Join us as we discuss the tough lessons learned and share the experiences of public health leaders and community partners in surviving and responding to a disaster named Katrina. Early registration is suggested as seating is limited.

The event location is at D. P. Culp, Forum Room.

The event will be held at 2:00 - 3:00 pm, March 31, 2006.
