Congratulations to Dr. Eileen Cress (Nutrition and Foods) on completing her doctoral degree in the spring 2014 semester.
The online program in ALHE leadership had a successful audit and received several commendations; one was for the work Kay Benincasa-Estes does in advising for the program.
Congratulations to Dr. Ester Verhovsek and the faculty in the MSAH program for a successful audit (April 2012).
The ETSU Radiography Program earned an eight year accreditation award from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, which is the maximum award for accreditation of radiography programs in the United States. The full accreditation award included both the B.S. program and the new distance learning option (Wimba Classroom). The program is fully accredited until the next site visit in 2019. Congratulations to all involved in the process and continued success in the future.
The Dental Hygiene Program received notice from the Commission on Dental Accreditation that they are fully accredited until the next site visit in 2018. Congratulations to all involved in the process and continued success in the future.
Congratulations to Dr. Debbie Dotson, Dental Hygiene, who completed her PhD in Health Services from Walden University in September, 2011. Dr. Dotson's area of study was Health Promotion/Health Education and her dissertation was A Comparison of Associate and Bachelor Degree-Seeking Students on Self-Perceptions of Senior Dental Hygiene Students as Health Educators.
Dr. Dotson was also named the Interim Program Director for Dental Hygiene in July, 2011.
