All students applying to the ETSU Dietetic Internship Program must participate in computer matching.
Applicants should request instructions from their DPD director to prioritize their DI preferences. Applicants may request the materials from any ADA accredited didactic program in dietetics or from D&D Digital Systems
Registering for computer matching and submitting the prioritized list of DI preferences can be completed at the D&D Digital Systems website, along with a credit card for fee payment. There is a $50 charge for computer matching that is due to D&D when the applicant prioritizes his/her DI ranking.

Applicants who receive a computer match are responsible for accepting or declining the match by calling the ETSU Dietetic Internship Director at 423-439-7524 by April 3, 2013 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.
An e-mail of acceptance must be sent to the ETSU DI Director by 5:00 p.m. (EST) on April 3, 2013.
Within 10 days of matching, each appointee who has any handicapping condition or medical condition that might involve special accommodations must contact the DI Director to discuss any special accommodation needs which might be required as a result of such condition (including regular physician visits). Failure to meet this requirement will result in forfeiture of the internship position.
For students not appointed to an ETSU dietetic internship position, no application materials are returned.
As a participant in the computer matching process, it is expected that applicants who receive a match will adhere to the results of the match and accept that match. It is unacceptable to decline a match in order to pursue appointment to another supervised practice program.
As a participant in the computer matching process, it is expected that applicants who do not receive a computer match will not contact any program director with open positions until the day after the established appointment date of April 3, 2013. This means you may not call programs with open positions until April 4, 2013.
This will allow programs time to confirm acceptance from their matched applicants and determine the process they will use to fill open positions. In addition, please do not ask your didactic program director to contact programs with open positions prior to April 4, 2013. They are also restricted from inquiring about open positions.
