Research Interests
Dr. Smith's research interests deal with subspecialties of audiologic rehabilitation including self-efficacy, speech perception, and cognitive hearing science. She currently is developing an auditory memory word span task and evaluating its relation to speech-in-noise performance. She also is collaborating on projects related to reduced temporal processing and speech-in-noise difficulties.
