academic goals.
The Honors in Discipline Program:
The honors program provides students majoring in Criminal Justice with
an opportunity to achieve their full academic potential. Students accepted
into the honors program will enroll in the same courses as other students,
but will be required to complete extra assignments and write a Senior
Honors Thesis.
Scholarships:
The Department awards the following three scholarships to undergraduate students on a competitive basis:
The John R. Cunningham Scholarship, The Christopher T. Mahan Memorial Scholarship,
and The David Scruggs Memorial Fund Scholarship. Each year the Department
also provides financial support to a limited number of qualified graduate students via Graduate Assistantships.
