1) Publication
and distribution of “Best Practices in Developmental Mathematics”
booklet
2) Two SPIN-sponsored “discussion sessions” at NADE2003
conference
3) Three newsletters
4) Distribution of membership directory to new members
5) Continued development of SPIN web site and listserv
Accomplishments to date:
1) Distribution of “Best Practices”
booklet completed. Copies sent to 400+ SPIN members.
2) Waiting for notification from NADE2003 conference
committee regarding acceptance of two SPIN-sponsored proposals
3) Preparing Fall newsletter

Request greater budget support
from NADE Board

The SPIN has responsibly and effectively spent its
budgeted funds in the past few years which has contributed substantially
to the growth of the SPIN. The budget cuts reflected in this year’s appropriations
will have a negative impact on the SPIN.
