East Tennessee State University reserves the
right to regulate the use of motor vehicles,
including motorcycles, motor scooters,
mopeds, and bicycles on the campus as applicable
to the Tennessee State Law and the regulations
of the university pertaining to motor
vehicles.

A nationwide study shows
that the average ratio of campus parking spaces is 5 spaces
to every 10 authorized users. East Tennessee State Universitys
main campus parking space ratio is 8.5 spaces to every
10 authorized users.

All regulations contained within
this brochure are enforced 24 hours
a day, seven days a week, whether or not
classes are in session.
Parking in color-coded
sections and lots is in effect Monday
through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the
exception of Lot 23 which is reserved until
4:30 p.m. After 3 p.m. weekdays, during weekends
and holidays, students and employees may
park in any designated parking space except
those reserved for persons physically disabled
and 24-hour reserved spaces. Legal holidays
recognized by the university include:
New Years Day;
Martin Luther Kings birthday;
Good Friday; Independence Day; Labor
Day; Thanksgiving holidays; and Christmas
holidays (Dec. 25-31).
