All visitors are required to stop at the Department of Public
Safety, University Parkway, to obtain a visitors parking
permit. There is no charge for visitor permits. Five official visitor
parking spaces are located on the north side of Burgin Dossett
Hall in Lot 31. If these spaces are occupied, visitors may park
in any Faculty/Staff or Student color coded spaces. Visitors are
not assessed a fine for violations of the color code parking, but
will be held responsible for firelane, disabled space/ramp, or
No Parking Zone violations.
Disabled Parking
Designated disabled parking spaces are available near the entrances
of most buildings on campus.
Parking for Special Events
Temporary permits are not necessary when attending special events,
but visitors must not park in fire lanes, 20-minute zones, service
vehicle spaces, or disabled parking areas.
(See Section 5, 5.1, Parking Regulations.)
