Employee Development Center
Off-Campus:
Coming from the
north, south and west, use I-81. Take exit 57-A onto I-26 and into Johnson City.
Take exit 24 onto University Parkway and follow the signs to campus. Coming from
the east, take I-26 from Asheville, N.C. Take exit 24 onto
University Parkway and follow the signs to campus. When you approach State of
Franklin Road (McDonalds should be on your right), turn left onto State of
Franklin. The Employee Development Center is in the Mini Dome which is
located along State of Franklin Road and across from the Carnegie Hotel. The Employee Development Center is
located on the East Side of the Dome (Sherrod Street side) and is on the second
floor.
Parking: Parking is available in the Carnegie Hotel Parking Garage. You do not need a parking pass to park in the parking garage for short-term parking for classes in the EDC. Student parking is not allowed in the parking garage. After you park, leave the garage on the ground level and follow the breezeway beside the Millenium Center to the ramp that leads to the pedestrian bridge. After crossing the bridge, immediately turn right and enter the Mini-Dome.
If you do
not have a ETSU parking permit for campus parking, please
stop by the Department of Public Safety (DPS)
drive-through window to pick up a visitor pass. DPS is located in building
64 on the campus map (link below), on the east side of campus just off
University Parkway.
On-Campus:
When you
approach the East Side of the Dome (along Sherrod Street and across from Brown
Hall), walk to the right corner entrance of the Dome that is beside the walking bridge that
connects ETSU to the Carnegie Hotel. The Employee Development Center
(E203-E209) is
located on the right across from the racquetball viewing areas.
