Margaret Miller Margaret Miller is a native of Mississippi who adopted Tennessee as her home state in 1981. Margaret’s educational background is in music education, and she has been active as a singer, conductor, and composer all her life. Despite her love of music, her path led her to the field of financial aid long ago, and she has been a financial aid professional for twenty years. Margaret has served as ETSU Director of Financial Aid since 1998. During her financial aid career, she has served in numerous capacities as committee chair and workshop presenter to her peers. Honors have included the U. S. Department of Education’s Leadership Award and Award for the Advancement of Quality Assurance. Margaret lives in the country, where she spends her free time working in her garden and playing with her three dogs, Cookie, Daisy Claire, and Gigi.
