Big A awaits New Years with much anticipation. He's finally going to reveal his love for Jim. The big guy buys an elegant new suit, he has his hair done at an expensive salon, and has his hands manicured. He's never been so in love in his life. All the times that his heart has been broken, it's all about to change.
At 10:00 on December 31st, Big A arrives at Williams' mansion. Everything is perfect. At the front door, the big man is met by an annoying young lady who immediately propositions him for a dance. Big A tries to explain that he is here to meet someone, which is a lie, but the young lady does not even listen to him. She is too busy giggling and going on to hear anything. Big A, due to the fact that he knows only a very few people at the gala, does his best to be cordial to the young lady. After they dance, the lady pulls Big A into the parlor where she sees a friend of hers.
"Mr. Merendino, I would like you to meet Hayden Sapinsley. Hayden, meet Mr. Adam Merendino" "It's nice to make your acquaintance, Ms. Sapinsley."
"Please, call me Hayden."
"Hayden is an antiques dealer, like Jimmy."
"It that right. I certainly love antiques. Do you and Mr. Williams do business together?"
"Oh yes, Jimmy is a dear friend of mine. If you're interested, I'll introduce you to him."
"That would be lovely. I suppose if I'm in his home, I should at least meet him."
"'Toodles,' Chelsea."
Big A and Hayden walk back into the ballroom. Hayden scans the dance floor.
"I don't see Jimmy, he's usually on the dance floor."
"Yes, I've heard that he's quite the dancer."
"He's simply beautiful."
Big A thinks to himself: I couldn't agree more!
"Oh there he is, over there. He's with his new friend. They're a gorgeous couple, and you should see them dance together! Chas, that's Jim's friend's name, was the world ballroom dance champion last year. They met at the world championships, Jim went to watch."
Big A's heart nearly explodes. "I'm gonna kill that bastard," he mutters.
"What's that," asks Hayden.
"I said, I'm not feeling very well. Please excuse me, it was a pleasure to have met you."
He heads straight for the exit. Big A steps onto the front lawn, he vomits immediately.
"I can't take any more," he screams.
The big guy takes out his cellular phone and dials Sebastian's number.
Sebastian answers, Big A says simply, "I've got a job for you."
