As a reaffirmation of its commitment to scholarly writing, the Appalachian Writers Association invites submissions of paper proposals for our upcoming July 2005 conference.
Topics for papers may address any of a wide range of issues pertaining to Appalachian literature and creative culture. Presentation time for each paper will be fifteen-twenty minutes.
The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2005. Please send two-page abstracts to
