JOHN DAVIS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is created to honor the memory of John Davis, a man who valued knowledge, sought social justice, and brought love into the world through his kindness and compassion. The scholarship will be awarded to the student recipient of the Patricia E. Robertson Diversity leadership Award. The winner will be determined annually by a selection committee appointed by the Office of Equity and Diversity. The criteria for the scholarship is as follows:
Individual must have demonstrated a sustained commitment to diversity education and/or social justice.
Individual should be an outspoken advocate in the effort to combat bigotry, discrimination, and oppression.
Individual must be a currently enrolled full-time student (graduate of undergraduate) in good academic standing.
Consideration will also be given to students whose professional goals are consistent with diversity education and/or furthering social justice.
How to Make Contributions to the John Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund
Monies from this fund are only used as scholarship awards for the student recipient of the yearly Patricia E. Robertson Diversity Leadership Award.

Checks can be sent/taken directly to the ETSU Foundation Office (3rd floor Burgin Dossett Hall, Room 302) or given to the Office of Equity & Diversity (2nd floor, Burgin Dossett Hall, Room 205) and we will take them to the ETSU Foundation Office for you.
