Seeking nominations for ETSU Staff Woman of the Year Award
The ETSU Commission for Women Standing Committee accepted nominations for the newly created ETSU Staff Woman of the Year Award. A prestigious honor that will recognize one extraordinary woman; nominators were asked to submit a nomination form and a narrative about the nominee. The award recipient will receive a $500.00 cash award during the awards ceremony that will be held in March 2012 in conjunction with the campus-wide celebration of National Women’s History Month.
With 2012 being the inaugural year of this prestigious award, nominators were strongly encouraged to submit nominations for staff-classified women and to highlight the often unnoticed accomplishments of those women that have made a notable impact in the workplace and/or improved the quality of life for others.
