This holiday schedule for the university has changed from the originally planned schedule, which called for the university to be closed Dec. 25-Jan. 1. To be consistent with the number of holidays scheduled in 2001 by the state of Tennessee and the University of Tennessee system, Dec. 24 was added as a holiday for Tennessee Board of Regents institutions by TBR Chancellor Dr. Charles W. Manning.
