JOHNSON CITY – As part of its Financial Planning Certificate Program, the East Tennessee State University College of Business will offer a 10-week course, "Income Tax Planning," beginning on Jan. 8, 2002. The deadline for registration is Jan. 4.
The course will be taught by CPA Sharon Bryant and will be held on Tuesday evenings from Jan. 8 through March 12. Participants who successfully fulfill class requirements will receive a certificate of completion.
The fee for the class is $400, not including classroom material. There is a discount for those registering for two or more classes as part of the Financial Planning Certificate Program, which includes "Investment Planning," "Insurance Planning," "Estate Planning," "Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits" and "The Financial Planning Process." The program is designed to qualify individuals for the Certified Financial Planner™ certification examination.
