Students must meet the following criteria to receive federal funds:
- Be enrolled as a regular student, attending classes, in a degree-seeking or qualified certificate program.
Special or transient students are not eligible for federal funds. Exceptions to this requirement are students
who are taking:
- pre-requisite coursework necessary for enrollment in a degree-seeking program;
- coursework required for teacher certification after completion of a previous degree.
- Be accepted for admission or meet the Office of Financial
Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAP) requirements
for continuing students before aid eligibility will be determined.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or Eligible Noncitizen. (See Student Guide )
- Males must be registered with the Selective Service.
- Have a High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
- Not be in default or owe a refund or repayment of Title IV funds.
- Not be convicted of possessing or selling illegal drugs or have met the requirements for
eligibility. (See FAFSA)
