Department of Pathology, Division of Forensic Pathology needs 2 student workers (APS). One to work 8 am to 12 noon and the other 1 pm to 5 pm. Duties will include admitting and releasing bodies to/from forensic morgue, inventory/packaging of forensic evidence, transporting forensic evidence (within walking distance), accepting inventory orders, answering telephone, general clean-up and general clerical duties. Ability to use computer a plus. Must have Hepatitis B vaccination or agree to do so.

Student assistants are needed who are interested in caring for children ages 3 months through 5 years. Our teachers will be happy to do "on the job" training for anyone showing an in interest in working with young children. Your job will consist of doing all those things necessary to provide quality early childhood experiences and care for the children. Some of the jobs involve direct supervision of the children and others involve performing tasks that enhance the overall care and learning experiences of the children (preparing snacks and lunches, sanitizing toys, cleaning up spills, repairing books, etc.). After you have volunteered 3 hours at the Center, you will be required to complete a packet of information that includes items such as an ETSU application, health form, fingerprinting (paid for by the Dept. of Human Services), I-9, W-4, direct deposit, and references. Several sessions of training will be initially required; for instance, CPR/1st Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens and First Steps Video training. The 3 hours volunteer time will not be scheduled unless proof of your Academic Performance Scholarship is submitted. Call the Center to make an appointment for an interview.
