• A grant of up to $4,000 per year (prorated based on enrollment and attendance)
  • Awarded to students who intend to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families
  • Awardees must fulfill an Agreement to Serve and meet certain eligibility requirements including the following:
  • Must be at least of Junior classification
  • Must have a combined higher education GPA of at least 3.25
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate, post-baccelaureate or Master Level program of study that will lead to a degree related to High Need Fields as determined by the Dept of Education. ETSU College of Education provides to the Office of Financial Aid a list of programs eligible for TEACH under the DOE guidelines
  • A student must file a FAFSA to be considered for eligibility
  • A student who is selected for verification must complete that process to be considered for eligibility
