- Access the forms toolbar
- Lock the form when changing fields, unlock the form when altering template
- Make sure that all the grey form-fields have been filled in with unique text
- Before submitting the document, turn off form-field shading

- You should see a toolbar like this when dealing with forms:
- If you don't see the toolbar, right click on a blank spot in your toolbar. You should see a menu like this:
- Select the "forms" option
- You should now have access to the forms buttons.
- Lock the form when changing fields, unlock the form when altering template

- When ready to fill out a template, make sure the form is locked by clicking the
button.
- If it is locked, you will not be able to modify anything outside of form fields.
- Make sure that all the grey form-fields have been filled in with unique text

- Fillable form fields have default text in them and are grayed out like this:
- Lock the form so that you don't mess up the templates when trying to fill it in.
- Replace the default text for the field with the relevant information about your thesis.
- Before submitting the document, turn off form-field shading

- Before submitting, turn off form fields so that the gray shading doesn't show.
- Click the
form field shading button to turn off the gray.
