February 22 – Demetrius Walker Lecture In honor of Black History Month, the Black Affairs Association and GPSA present a talk from the co-owner of dangerousNegro (dN) Clothing. Demetrius Walker will speak about developing his own clothing label. His dN clothing line is aimed at changing the course of what he feels is the current trend toward the “gangster mentality” in the black community to one that emphasizes education. He will also speak about motivation, education, achieving goals, and being a positive influence in the community. A reception will follow his presentation.

February 22 – Hip-Hop Fashion Show
In honor of Black History Month, the Black Affairs Association and GPSA present a show featuring Demetrius Walker and dangerousNegro Clothing. Students will model popular hip-hop clothing trends and shirts provided by dn Clothing, while Walker gives a brief description of his clothing and the meanings behind the apparel.
