Graduate Students of Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or Social Sciences

Public employee Retirment Research and Administration Scholarship competition
- 1 scholarship of $4,000 available for award in 2006 funded by the ICMA Retirment
Corporation to prepare a graduate student for a career in the field of public sector retirement benefits
- Candidates must submit an application an application along with a letter of recommendation from their academic advisor or dean of their program
- Applications must be post marked no later than February 3, 2006

Graduate or Undergraduate Accounting Students

Frank L. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship Scholarship competition
- 1 or more scholarship of $3,500 available for award in 2006
- funded by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) to prepare students for a career in the field state and local government finance
- Candidates must submit an application an application along with a letter of recommendation from their academic advisor or dean of their program

Minority Upper-Division Graduate or Undergraduate Students

Graduate or Undergraduate Students Public Administration, Finance, Political Science, Business Administration or a Related Field

George A. Nielsen Public Investor Scholarship Competition
- 1 scholarship of $5,000 (ot 2 of $ 2, 500) available for award in 2006
- funded by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) to support studies of student with a career interest in the efficient and productive investment of public funds
- Candidates must submit an application an application along with a letter of recommendation from their academic advisor or dean of their program
- Applications must be post marked no later than February 3, 2006

Daniel B. Goldberg Scholarship Competition
- 1 scholarship of $10,000 available for award in 2006
- funded by the Girard Miller Foundation to prepare students for a career in state and local finance
