This is a busy time for my family!
Here are some turn-of-the-century photos from our files (more are coming).
Thanks to all of you who have contributed to my electronic and paper photo files. This is a work in progress--so forgive me if it takes a while to get your photos online!

Another Haley Homestead

This is a photo, taken in late 2000, of Gene and Kathy Haley's new house. It's across the old field from Cindy Haley Harper's home, between the "first homestead" of Harold B. and Cynthia Garner Haley and the home of Raymond and Jessie Smith.

A Grand Opening

Cindy Haley Harper opened her new office in June, 2000. Pictured here, the office is across from the Garland County Court House in Hot Springs, AR. Cindy recently passed all her exams and became a representative of Edward Jones investment company.

A Turn of the Century Christmas...
All of the children and most of the grandchildren of Harold B. and Cynthia Garner Haley met for Christmas, 1999, at the Haley home near Lonsdale, AR. Pictured here is most of the lot.

An Important Anniversary...
Pat C. Haley Shaw (at right) celebrated her 25th anniversary of employment at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on November 4, 1999. She is the director of purchasing for the hospital.

Me! (Actually, that's Doctor Me...)
On August 18, 1999, I received my Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition, with a secondary specialization in American Literature, from The University of Alabama.

Another Graduation!

On August 11, 1999, Cynthia D. Haley Harper received her B.S. in business from John Brown University. Cindy is studying for her broker's examination, so she can open her own investment firm.

Okay, so he's family to me...

On Jan. 18, 1999, my little guy (Haley's Titus Germanicus) celebrated his second birthday at our home, which was in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. About a dozen of his doggie friends attended the party, which included a birthday cake (email me for the recipe) and party favors for the dogs and their humans.
