Training & Workshops

One of the pillars of the Appalachian Center for Translational Research is keeping researchers and the community informed of the latest research projects and the results of these studies. To facilitate this process, we have developed the ACTRID seminar series to help individuals in the community, faculty, and students better understand current research topics. Citizens of the community, teachers, and students are welcome and encourage to attend these informal workshops. The presentations typically last 1-2 hours and are usually followed by an informal question and answer session. In addition, the talks are videotaped and will soon be available for checkout for those who were not able to attend. We have made every effort to accommodate members of the community and researchers alike. If you have any further suggestions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
