GUIDELINES: Evidence of artistry

Fine Arts & Graphic Design

For students interested in Fine Arts (painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, etc.) and Graphic Design (design, illustration, typography, studio photography, commercial art, etc.), careful consideration of application materials is suggested. Whenever possible, submission of actual art work is recommended.

Submit a portfolio of 10 arts works for review, following one of these options:

  • A portfolio of actual works (two and three-dimensional) submitted in a sturdy, reusable portfolio suitable for protecting your art work.
  • A CD or DVD of photographs of your work (JPG format is suggested). Suitable for examples of digitally created works such as computer illustration, digital graphics, web sites, digital photographs, etc.

Note: Include a self-addressed mailing envelope for the return of slides, CD, or DVD. Return shipping of actual art work needs to be paid for by the applicant. It is recommended that art work be submitted in person.
