Proposals for Honors-in-Discipline programs require review and
approval by the University Honors Advisory Committee. Final
approval comes from the Academic Council. Proposals will be reviewed
for compliance with Honors-in-Discipline program criteria.
When submitting a proposal, use the Honors-in-Discipline program
proposal cover sheet, which summarizes program characteristics. Honors-in-Discipline
programs do not require Curriculum Committee approval although individual
new courses must be approved by the typical curriculum process.
